Maryann Root, 93, Berne, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Swiss Village. She was the daughter of David and Laura(Habegger) Wulliman born on July 2, 1918 in Adams County. She married Howard Root on May 5, 1951 who is deceased.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a secretary for a law firm in Seattle, Wa. where she lived the majority of her life.

Survivors include a sister, Arvilla Martin, Berne and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are Clem Wulliman, Magdalena Lehman, Ann Johnson, Carol Liechty Peterson, and Treva Wulliman.

Memorial services are Friday, May 18, 2012 at 4 pm at the Swiss Village Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Officiating is Pastor Mark Harris.

Burial in Seattle, WA.

Preferred memorials are to the Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
