Margaret T. Schwartz, 62, rural Berne, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at her home. She was born to Christie T. Schwartz and Susan W. Schwartz on August 26, 1949 in Adams County.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was part owner of the Jefferson Country Store.

She is survived by her father and step mother Katie (Wengerd) Schwatz and brothers, Jake T. Schwartz of Monroe, Joe T. Schwartz of Berne, Dan T. Schwartz of Berne, Chris T. Schwartz of Berne, Amos T.Schwartz of Berne, and Samuel T. Schwartz, of Berne. Sisters, Lizzie (Ernest K.) Schwartz of Berne, Josephine (Ben) Christner of Bryant, Rebecca (Enos) Christner of Bryant, Mary (Harvey) Christner of Bryant, Lovina (Daniel) Miller of Berne, Susan (Mosie) Miller of Berne, and Barbara T. Schwartz of Berne. Also 20 step brothers and sisters.

Preceeding in death are her mother Susan, brothers Enos and Emanuel Schwartz and sister Katie Schwartz.

Funeral services are Thursday at 9 AM at her home with visitaion Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM and Wednesday fom 9 AM to 8 PM at the home. Officiating is Bishop Ben M.Girod.

Burial at the Bunker Hill Cemetery near Geneva.
